A custom web app for a website check

A lot of businesses in Appleton and the Fox Valley have a website and a Google listing. They still can't tell which part is the reason the phone stays quiet. A full review takes more time than most owners have in a week.

Scrub is a custom web app we made for that check. It runs in Appleton. You enter a website and a town. In about a minute it looks at four things and hands back a ranked fix list.

It reads the website. It checks the Google Business listing, including whether the name, the phone, and the hours agree with the site. It checks Google Maps rank against other businesses in the same trade, in the same town. It checks AI search, the short answers people get when they ask who to call. Then it sorts the fixes so the first one is the one to do first.

In plain words, the stack is a Next.js web app running on Railway. The pages, the check, and the report are that one app.

What you get back is a score for the whole picture, a Maps rank, the Google listing, and the website, plus the fix list. The photo at the top is the sample report Scrub shows on the screen, so you can see the layout. A real check fills in the scores for the business you entered.

The phone view above is the start of that same check.

Scrub is at scrub.nobleworks.io. The longer list of what the check covers is in What we check when we scrub a Fox Valley business website.
