Native Landscaping Website in Appleton, WI

Prairie Revival Ecological is Andy Gilsdorf's company for native landscaping and ecological restoration. The work is based in Appleton, WI, and the homepage puts the reach in four words: Appleton roots, Wisconsin reach. He is the founder and owner. The about page says the company was established in 2025, that the first prairie went in during 2019, and that the logo carries a Compass Plant leaf from that site.

A landowner needs to know what the job actually is. A front-yard planting is not a three-acre woodlot, and a woodlot is not a prairie phased over five years. Prairie Revival needed one place that could explain the range, show finished projects, name the towns they serve, and give a plain next step. The header reads Call 920-241-6491, and Request A Quote opens a form. We had already made their Pollinator Habitat yard sign, and we had already written how we created a physical and digital growth engine for Prairie Revival.

We planned the pages around that conversation: who they are, what they do, proof from the field, and a quote before anyone has a finished plan. The design stays with the work, dark green and cream type with photographs of coneflowers and real plantings. We put the site together in Framer, wrote the pages, and set up local SEO so Appleton and the other Wisconsin towns each have a page. On a phone the pages stack, the call button stays in the header, and Past Projects, Services, and Request A Quote sit full width.

On October 9 the site moved into Prairie Revival's own Framer workspace. NobleWorks stays on as editor. It is live at prairierevival.co, and the footer reads Designed and Powered by NobleWorks.

What is on the site

The homepage hero reads Native Landscaping & Ecological Restoration in Wisconsin. Four commitments each have a page: regenerative stewardship, shared ecological knowledge, living diversity, and future-ready landscapes. Six service paths follow: Urban Restoration, Ecosystem Restoration, Wildlife Habitat Improvements, Education and Outreach, Consultation and Design, and Prescribed Fire. Then recent projects, recent posts, and 24 questions with the answers on the page. The footer lists the Wisconsin towns.

About Us covers the 2019 prairie, the Compass Plant in the logo, and why a yard, a park, and a woodlot belong in the same conversation as a preserve. It also covers more than ten years in fisheries management, stream ecology, native plant propagation, and ecological restoration, a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a wetland delineation certification.

Our Footprint publishes three numbers: 80+ acres restored, 10+ years of experience, and 15,000+ native plants installed, plus invasive plants, equipment, brush left on a site, habitat structures, and water.

Six category pages open into 26 detail pages. Urban work includes landscaping conversion, pollinator gardens, turf replacement, green mulch, water management, and planting maintenance. Ecosystem work includes invasive species removal, diversity enhancements, prairie installation, and tree and shrub planting. Wildlife pages include songbird habitat, game species, native food plots, raptor boxes, tree snags, and Solutions for Any Species. Education includes workshops, on-site landowner sessions, and community restoration days. Consultation includes site assessments, habitat master plans, stormwater design, and invasive species control. Prescribed fire includes prairie and savanna burns, woodland burns, and post-burn monitoring.

The portfolio has four stories: a 900-plant native garden, buckthorn removal on a three-acre woodlot, a five-year herbicide-free backyard conversion, and a front-yard pollinator planting with a flagstone path.

Three blog posts are live: invasive species management in Wisconsin, frost seeding native prairies, and fall planting for native perennials, grasses, and sedges.

The contact page has a quote form for a name, phone, email, project notes, the service they want, how they heard about Prairie Revival, and whether they prefer a call, an email, or a text.

There are 43 city pages, from Appleton and the Fox Valley towns through Green Bay, Madison, La Crosse, and Rhinelander. Each one has its own title and description.

A landowner can open prairierevival.co, see the work, and send a quote request from the page they are on. For a site like this, start with custom website development, local SEO website setup, and service area pages, or see our websites and landing pages. Call 920-963-5474.

Great experience overall. I brought in a few of my own designs and they also helped create one from scratch, and everything turned out exactly how I hoped. They were upfront about timing, kept me in the loop, and delivered when they said they would. Pricing was actually better than the big online companies, and it felt good supporting a local business instead. I’ll definitely be coming back for future projects.
