Custom leather patch hat on a Richardson 112 trucker for Bloomprint Florals. Their flower logo and name are laser-engraved into a leather patch on the front of the hat.
About Bloomprint Florals: they're a full-service florist in Sturgeon Bay. They make their arrangements in-house and deliver around Sturgeon Bay and Door County.
How it came together: we started with the logo they already had and talked through where the hats would be worn. We laid the logo out on a patch shape that follows the flower, sent a proof, made changes, then engraved the patches and put them on the hats.
Laser engraving brings out the fine lines in the flower, and leather holds up to daily wear better than a printed logo that fades in the wash. The Richardson 112 is a trucker style people actually like wearing, so the hats get worn instead of sitting in a drawer.
